These organizations are collaborating to create a world-class central public library for Omaha. This once-in-a-century opportunity shines with possibility and purpose. The collective goal is to bring the space to life and provide a strong foundation for the future of Omaha.
This project started as a response to OPL’s 2010 and 2017 Facilities Plans, which called for a new central library to be built along the Dodge Street corridor, between 72nd and 90th streets.
